This intriguing exhibition showcases a selection of art from our collection that engages with Jewish religious thought and practice, and art influenced by Jewish historical events. Discover depictions of kings, fantastical creatures, young girls and survivors of war, as artists including Felix Tuszynski, David Rankin, Yosl Bergner, Victor Majzner and Simcha Fetter wrestle with themes of trauma, survival, Jewish mysticism and biblical heroes.
