In light of the Victorian Government’s declaration of a state of emergency, the Jewish Museum of Australia closed on 16 March 2020.

By closing, we believe we can best protect our team and the wider community. For at the Jewish Museum of Australia, we illuminate Jewish life – and right now, we must think and act in a way that considers all lives.

As such, we’re not taking enquiries into group bookings at this time. We look forward to welcoming you back to our Museum as soon as it’s safe to do so.

Group tour (including Synagogue visit) – $10 per person. Bookings are essential for groups of 10 or more, with a maximum of 50 participants per visit (carers and bus drivers visit free of charge).

Morning or afternoon tea
Standard morning or afternoon tea – $5 per person (extra catering can be arranged upon request).

Payment can be arranged on the day of the visit and be made by individual participants or as a group.

Visits can take between 90 and 150 minutes, depending on the type of tour you are booked for.

Group tours are available for booking between 10am and 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For bookings outside these times, please indicate your ideal date and times. Please note this is a request only and dates and times are subject to availability.

Booking and confirmation policy
A fee of $2 per participant will be charged if you cancel your booking two weeks prior to visiting. Please email us to request a visit for your group at least four weeks before your planned visit; your booking will be confirmed by a team member within two business days.
