JMA Minis: L'dor V'dor (Generation to Generation)

17 May 2024
Friday 10–10.45am
Jewish Museum of Australia

Have you ever made a family recipe or recounted a family story? This is l’dor v’dor (Hebrew for ‘from generation to generation’), the act of passing down traditions.

Ahead of International Museum Day, we are inviting our littlest museum-goers to adventure through the Jewish Museum of Australia: Gandel Centre of Judaica and explore the important role our Museum plays in caring for historical art and artefacts from our past generations for the very purpose of sharing their stories with future generations. Together we will visit our newest exhibition Andrew Rogers: Where We Are (opening 10 May) and explore Andrew’s beautiful sculptures before making our own sculptures and personal artefacts.

So, come along to the JMA with your special friends for an intergenerational JMA Minis experience!

Share culture, connection and community with the little ones in your life. This program is designed specifically for the Museum’s youngest audience members, children (18 months to 5 year olds), and their carers.
