Delve deeper into Mirka Mora’s life and art with MIRKA+, a space to learn, discover, make and do.

  • Meet Mali the elephant, painted by Mirka in 2012 and specially restored for the Jewish Museum of Australia
  • Visit the viewing space to watch Remembering Mirka, a series of frank and fascinating interviews with the people who knew her best, courtesy of The St Kilda Historical Society
  • Spend some time at the activity table featuring Mirka’s original sketches where you can do craft activities — make your very own Mirka-inspired articulated doll based on artworks in the exhibition
  • Watch Mirka’s full Holocaust testimony, courtesy of the Jewish Holocaust Centre

The MIRKA+ space may be accessed with a free General Admission ticket or a MIRKA ticket. Please be mindful of capacity limits while inside the viewing space.
