The Jewish Context of the Life and Words of Jesus

At the Jewish Museum of Australia: Gandel Centre of Judaica, we illuminate Jewish life. We do this knowingly and respectfully acknowledging the rich and diverse indigenous cultures across what is now called Australia. Here at the Jewish Museum we tell our stories on the lands of the Bunurong and Wurundjeri peoples and pay our respect to their elders and cultural leaders past and present.

Our Museum proudly supports the 'Yes' position in The Voice to Parliament referendum as it reflects our values of 'Chesed', compassion and kindness and 'Tikkun olam', our desire to improve the world.
