ROSH HASHANAH with Fifth of Nisan
Welcome the Jewish New Year with Fifth of Nisan at the Jewish Museum of Australia.
Enjoy an evening of music, community and seasonal treats, featuring the sounds of the shofar with Rachel Moshel, alongside hot apple cider and honey cake. Collect our new Rosh Hashanah companion, featuring recipes from Jewish community cooks and chefs and an introduction to the Rosh Hashanah seder. Explore the Museum’s galleries, including ZAHALKAWORLD: An Artist’s Archive and Through a Jewish Lens, as we celebrate the new year through new and ancient sounds.
Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Your ticket includes a warm drink and sweet treat on arrival, as well as entry to ZAHALKAWORLD: An Artist’s Archive. Arrive early to explore the exhibition before the performance begins.
