Educate 10,000: Jewish Cultural Awareness - July

22 July 2026
Wednesday 10am-12pm
Jewish Museum of Australia

Grow your understanding of Australian Jewish identity, history and lived experience with these open education sessions. Designed for non-Jewish individuals and led by expert educators, engage with Jewish perspectives, culture, beliefs and contemporary challenges at an introductory level. Build confidence to recognise and respond to antisemitism, to help create safer and more inclusive communities, workplaces, and schools.

Includes: introduction to Jewish life and community demographics, Museum tour, and introduction to historical and current forms of antisemitism.

The Jewish Museum of Australia is a proud partner organisation of the Educate 10,000 initiative, launched by the Jewish Community Council of Victoria in the days following the devasting Bondi killings, to promote social cohesion and combat local antisemitism in 2026.
