The Jewish Museum of Australia is a privileged recipient of a section of a Torah that we are permitted to use for teaching purposes. This program provides students with the opportunity to get very close to the special scroll which is at the heart of our religion. Students can look at it under a magnifying glass; they can hold the quill and sinews that are needed to write the Torah and to join the sections. They can also learn some wonderful facts about the Torah.
This short 20 minute program would be part of a general Museum visit.
