Australian Jewish Lens Competition

The Jewish Museum of Australia has partnered with the Museum of The Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot to present the Australian Jewish Lens competition.

Our competition will provide students with a meaningful way of connecting to their Jewish stories and identities, and an active way of expressing themselves through their own photos.

To enter, students are asked to submit a photo that captures their Jewish moment of 2020 – independently or through their Jewish day school.

Entries will be judged by an esteemed panel, including photographer Nigel Clements whose work is held in our collection, and displayed via an online exhibition. Finalists will be submitted to the International Competition at Beit Hatfutsot.

Individuals enter here.
Schools enter here, with option lesson plans accessible here.
Entries close 5pm Friday 18 December 2020.
