Spotlight: Breakfast with the Museum - Dr Sandro Demaio (Zoom)

28 October 2020
Wednesday 8–9am
Jewish Museum of Australia (Zoom)

Start the day with a talk and Q&A with community leaders sparking change.

Dr Sandro Demaio is on a mission to develop disruptive and innovative solutions to Australia’s health challenges, using food as a tool. The CEO of VicHealth and renowned public health expert and advocate has had a front row seat to the devastation wrought by COVID-19 – and believes it has thrown into sharp relief the need to address the social determinants of health inequities.

Join Sandro, our Director & CEO Jessica Bram and moderator Dashiel Lawrence of +61J for the latest in our Spotlight series of special events.

Sandro previously worked for the World Health Organisation and was CEO of the EAT Foundation. He co-founded the NCDFREE global social movement and established his own not-for-profit foundation to improve the health and nutrition of Australian kids. Sandro has published many scientific journal articles and is author of the Doctor’s Diet cookbook. He also co-hosts the ABC television and Netflix show Ask the Doctor.

Please be advised that bookings for this event will close at 8am Wednesday 28 October 2020, with the Zoom link emailed to attendees directly.
