Spotlight: Breakfast with the Museum - Isabelle Oderberg (Zoom)

30 September 2020
Wednesday 8–9am
Jewish Museum of Australia (Zoom)

Start the day with a talk and Q&A with community leaders sparking change.

A journalist for almost 20 years across three continents, Isabelle Oderberg has worked for some of Australia’s biggest NFPs and is now writing her first book. Known for her honest voice and depiction of life as a Melbourne Jew, she will discuss her multiple pregnancy losses as well as balancing work with raising two ‘didgerijews’ during a global pandemic.

Join Isabelle, our Director & CEO Jessica Bram and moderator Dashiel Lawrence of +61J for the latest in our Spotlight series of special events that illuminate Jewish life.

Isabelle Oderberg is a former journalist who worked for Reuters, Dow Jones, Australian Associated Press, Business Spectator, Herald Sun and News Corp. She was Australia’s first social media editor, sat on the Melbourne Press Club board for five years and was a founding committee member of Women In Media Victoria. Six years ago, she transitioned into the NFP sector as a media and communications strategist and has worked with Australian Red Cross, St Kilda Mums and the Council to Homeless Persons.

Please be advised that bookings for this event will close at 8am Wednesday 30 September 2020, with the Zoom link emailed to attendees directly.
