Sarajevo Haggadah Project

22 March 2020
Sunday 1pm
Jewish Museum of Australia

The Sarajevo Haggadah Project combines lecture, exhibition, projection and music to illuminate the history of the world’s most celebrated Pesach text.

Surviving medieval Spain, World War II and the recent Bosnian war, the Sarajevo Haggadah has become a symbol of tolerance and co-existence.

This Harmony Week, don’t miss this opportunity to hear Dr Eli Tauber (Director of the Haggadah Centre, Sarajevo) alongside Saray Iluminado performing Sephardic songs and sevdah.

The Sarajevo Haggadah Project is  delivered in conjunction with Multicultural Arts Victoria and supported by Gandel Philanthropy.
