Return to the centre of early Jewish life in Melbourne and take in the Chevra Kadisha, Herzl House, Monash House, Smorgon’s Butcher Shop, Stone’s Synagogue, the site of the Carlton United Hebrew Congregation and more.

This walk is part of the Primo Levi: Writer, Witness, Scientist: Italian and Jewish Organisations Unite to Celebrate Life centenary program presented with CO.AS.IT, the Italian Cultural Institute Melbourne and Jewish Holocaust Centre.

See you at the San Marco in Lamis Social Club at 149 Canning Street (near the corner of Kay Street) at 10.15am.
