Love song for Babushka

14 October 2018
Sunday 6pm to 7pm
Jewish Museum of Australia

As part of the Seniors Festival and to celebrate our latest exhibition Love & Legacy, Melbourne jazz vocalist Tamara Kuldin presents a beautifully intimate performance of story and song paying tribute to the life and love of her beloved late grandmother.

Poignant, humorous and honest, Tamara shares treasured memories and moments, hilarious and heartbreaking, candidly illuminating this very special bond between grandmother and granddaughter. Tamara weaves together her anecdotal gems through song, singing many beloved melodies made famous by generations of Jewish women, from Sophie Tucker, Bette Midler, Madeline Kahn to Carole King. Accompanied by Steve Paix (piano).
