Join conservator and author Dr. Sabine Cotte for a discussion of Mirka Mora’s colourful life and work.

Having closely collaborated with Mirka during her lifetime, Sabine brings unique insight to the work presented in the exhibition. Sabine sits down with Senior Curator & Collection Manager Eleni Papavasileiou to discuss the projects she worked on with Mirka and what she learned about this extraordinary artist along the way.

With her unparalleled knowledge of Mirka’s work, Sabine brings personal insight and expertise to this special event.

About the presenter: Sabine Cotte started her career in art conservation in 1985. After graduating from Institut Français de Restauration des Oeuvres d’Art in Paris she worked in France for 11 years before migrating to Australia in 2001. She worked with Mirka Mora to conserve several of her major artworks and subsequently wrote a fascinating and in-depth book on Mirka’s unique art practice, called Mirka Mora: A Life Making Art.
