Ittay Flescher
6 week course (March 16, 23, April 6, 13, 20, 27)

This six-week Zoom course, led by Ittay Flescher, will explore the major protest movements that shaped the religious, social and political identity of the State. Through hearing the stories of the protest leaders and the many who followed, students will gain an insight into the deepest frustrations, hopes and dreams of the people who call Israel home.

Facilitator: Ittay Flescher has been working in formal and informal Jewish education for the past 18 years. Since leaving Melbourne to make Jerusalem his home in 2018, he has been working as the Israel Correspondent for Plus61J Media and the Education Director at Kids4Peace. As an insightful educator with a strong sense of justice, Ittay hopes this course will comfort the troubled and trouble the comfortable.

Please note: there will be no session on Tuesday, March 30 due to Pesach.

The Zoom link will be emailed to attendees directly ahead of the first session.
