Shaike Snir

Shaike Snir was born in Israel in 1952 and migrated to Australia in 1987. He studied photography, screen printing and art history at the Institute of Technology and the University of Tel- Aviv , and had his first solo exhibition in Israel in 1978.

On arrival in Australia he worked as a master printer with Port Jackson Press, and now has his own print studio. Since 1991 he has had three solo exhibitions in Melbourne.
