In the basket

‘In the basket’ is a hands-on activity that is used to assist younger students to explore the Museum’s Belief and Ritual gallery. Each student is given an object which they can touch, open and investigate. They are then asked to answer a specific list of relevant questions using the information provided in the Museum displays. Museum guides are also on hand to provide additional information. Later in the visit, pairs of students are asked to present their findings to their fellow classmates. Each pair has a different object to report on, ensuring the subsequent discussions are lively, informative and unique.
