Special Projects Curator
The Jewish Museum of Australia would like to invite expressions of interest to join our team as a Special Projects Curator. The successful candidates will have extensive experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Museum or gallery-based curatorial practice
- Public history
- The production of exhibitions within a community and/or research-based context
- Academic background and/or research-based projects in the field of Jewish studies
- Community engagement and relationship building within a creative field
Special Project Curators will serve as guest curators for the majority of temporary exhibitions at the Jewish Museum of Australia. Where required, they will also take a lead role in developing community engagement activities, partnerships and public programs around the exhibition, in collaboration with relevant Museum staff.
